President Obama proposes research initiative to understand the human brain

Dr. Silverman provides insights on the proposal from President Barak Obama to invest $100 million in the development of technologies to map brain circuits and observe brain cells.

The Brain Research through Advancing Innovative Neurotechnologies, or BRAIN, initiative could ultimately lead to insights for the treatment of complicated diseases, like Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and ADHD, and for treating traumatic injuries to the brain.
